Job Summary:
Regional Merchandise Manager supports the Senior V.P. of Merchandise by creating and maintaining company visual standards. The position also encompasses the implementation of
visual standards with field operations staff by insuring consistent follow through and execution of merchandising and inventory management.
Job Responsibilities:

Traveling with in specified region to communicate all divisional merchandising directives and visual standards.

Work as a liaison between Corporate Office, Regional V.P and General Manager to help in implementing and maintaining visual standards.

Ensure visual consistency through out region by initializing training sessions with management and sales staff.

Setting and maintaining Core product placement to specified plan-o-grams.

Spearheading Store resets and/or new Store openings by making sure all visual merchandising tools have been ordered and are in place. Double-checking with operational
staff that all souvenir merchandise has been received priced and in place at time of the reset/store set up.

Work with General Managers in identifying location needs so that product sales can be increased.

Initializing check sheet for walk through so as to maintain maintenance standards, such as full lighting capacity and overall cleanliness of individual stores.

Make recommendations for markdowns on discontinued, overstocked and slow moving items.
Working Relationships:

Assess stores with regards of product placement and the possibility of a store reset so that product sales increase.

Aid buyers in product assortment; work with buyers to execute product changes, liaison between buyers and locations.

Provide guidance to GM's regarding visual changes, leave visit notes, and make recommendations regarding visual presentations.

Develop schedule and communicate visit notes to RVP's

Create Power Point Presentations with pictures and notes and send via email to GM's so that they have a visual of the correct setup of merchandise.

Follow up with Managers in regards to any floor moves and /or product placement to see how it has affected their sales if any.

Keeping communication open with Operations is a key ingredient in the successfulness of visual merchandising. Each location is different therefore there are different
needs in each location, be sensitive to their needs and offer as much assistance as possible.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

Proven Visual Merchandising Skills

Power Point, Excel and Word Proficient
-
Climbing a ladder and lifting at least 40lbs.

Good verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
Education and Experience:
-
Degree in Merchandising or 3 to 5 years experience in the field
-
Operational Management a plus.

Ability to work well with all levels of management, build partnerships and direct teams.

Strong knowledge of all selling areas
-
Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
