East Rutherford, NJ - August 28, 2008 - Riding tandem with one of Nashville's most popular retailers, Boswell's Harley-Davidson, travel retailer Hudson Group has opened a unique specialty store in Nashville International Airport (BNA) that celebrates all that is fun and exciting about the world's best known motorcycle brand, now celebrating its 105th anniversary.
Boswell's Music City Harley-Davidson opened for business this summer and has become a focal point of the airport's recently refreshed retail program. Located front and center in the store is a Harley-Davidson Dark Custom Nightster, the new retro-look bike designed to appeal to younger riders. Arranged behind this stylish machine is a wide array of authentic merchandise from Harley-Davidson - gifts, souvenirs, apparel and collectible items emblazoned with familiar Harley motifs: flames, skulls, tattoos and the classic copper-and-black Harley bar and shield.
"The airport store will be an extension of our own fine stores, which feature only genuine Harley-Davidson and Boswell's logoed products," notes company President Bubba Boswell, whose family has been selling Harley-Davidson motorcycles in Nashville for three generations.
According to Joseph DiDomizio, president and CEO of Hudson Group, "We are delighted to be working with Harley-Davidson and are looking forward to further developing the relationship. Boswell's is the most recent store to be opened in the airport since our joint venture team won the contract to revitalize the airport's retail program. In the past year, we have brought to the airport great national brands and regional concepts that have the whole town talking."
"We have been working hard with strategic partners like Hudson Group to provide our customers with a true Nashville experience," says Raul Regalado, president and CEO of the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, which operates Nashville International Airport. "Offering premier retail options like Boswell's Harley-Davidson plays a vital role in making our guests feel like they've truly experienced Music City."
Boswell's Music City Harley-Davidson joins these other fine Hudson stores at BNA: Hudson News, Hudson Booksellers, CNN Nashville, CMT Loot, Discover Nashville, Godiva, In Celebration of Golf, Life is good, Papyrus, Sunglass Hut, Sony BMG and Nashville Star.
